Our Story

In 1974 Antonio Mação found his love of gardening left him with a problem. Too many vegetables! So he sold his tomatos, cucumbers, and cauliflower from a table in front of his home. From that humble beginning has grown Infante e Freitas, a reliable supplier of all sorts of Algarve avacados, Cherry, Roma, and Beefstake tomatos, eggplant, mushrooms, garlic, Persian and Lebanese cucumbers, radishes, onions, citrus fruits, peppers, and more.
